Abstrak

Teater Wisata di Bali menunjukkan perubahan paradigma dalam penciptaan seni pertunjukan, dari fungsi hiburan menuju strategi pembangunan ekonomi kreatif yang berakar kuat pada budaya lokal. Salah satu model inovatif yang berkembang adalah personal narrative tourism theatre, sebagaimana terlihat pada Lampah Laku Jro Sadi yang dipentaskan di pendopo keluarga sang seniman di Gianyar. Karya ini menggabungkan perjalanan hidup seniman dengan tradisi lokal, ruang domestik, serta keterlibatan komunitas, sehingga menghasilkan pengalaman pariwisata budaya yang autentik, intim, dan bermakna. Penelitian ini mengkaji bagaimana biografi seniman, simbolisme budaya, dan transformasi ruang privat menjadi ruang publik dapat menciptakan ekosistem ekonomi kreatif yang berkelanjutan. Pendekatan kualitatif digunakan melalui etnografi dan site-specific performance, dengan pengumpulan data berupa wawancara mendalam, observasi pertunjukan, serta analisis konteks sosial-ekonomi. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa narasi personal mampu memperkuat identitas budaya sekaligus membuka peluang baru bagi pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Keluarga dan masyarakat lokal terlibat sebagai pengelola, perajin, desainer artistik, hingga pemandu budaya; ruang domestik disusun ulang menjadi venue pengalaman budaya; dan unsur ritual dipresentasikan dalam format komersial dengan tetap menjaga nilai sakralnya. Kebaruan penelitian ini terletak pada konsep life-based tourism performance yang menjadikan kisah hidup seniman sebagai modal budaya untuk menciptakan pasar baru pariwisata kreatif, yang tidak hanya menggerakkan ekonomi lokal tetapi juga menjaga keseimbangan antara komodifikasi dan pelestarian budaya.
